Soon after receiving Charming's somewhat mysterious note, she realized that evening was fast approaching. Having left no clues as to what he was scheming, Charming had Snow in silent speculation- his goal, no doubt. She stepped over to the dresser in her room and picked out something suitable to wear to meet him. (It was odd that the drawers were already full of various articles of clothing that fit her perfectly, but she wouldn't complain.) Regardless of what he was up to, this would be the perfect time for the two of them to celebrate escaping Regina's curse seemingly unscathed.

After a quick stop to ask a resident for the shortest path to the roof, she proceeded to make her way up the first few flights of stairs. Determining that she had a few extra minutes to spare, she walked slowly, studying the castle's setup a bit. After reaching the final floor, she began her ascent up the stairwell to the roof...spotting a stray flower on the ground near the top. Curiously, she knelt to pick it up...tilting her head as she rolled it around in her hand. Just a few more steps, and then....

She stopped dead in her tracks, raising a hand to her chest with a quiet gasp... The roof was absolutely gorgeous...decorated with fresh flowers and sweet smelling candles. So much careful thought had gone into all of this... Then suddenly, in addition, she smelled the savory aroma of freshly prepared food... It was all rather overwhelming.

Looking over and spotting Charming standing proudly in the corner, she let out a soft, joyful laugh.

"Well...Aren't you a real Prince Charming?"

She smiled radiantly as she stepped toward him, shaking her head in disbelief. He sure did go to an awful lot of trouble to put all of this together.
