Trial 4: Dragon May Cry?

Who: Chie Satonaka and YOU
What: Chie contemplating about serious things, mostly about Yukiko's disappearance.
When: Afternoon of April 2nd
Where: A small river near the castle

Chie is sitting on a boulder by the river, looking at a picture on her phone. It was the picture with the dog she and Yukiko adopted when they were children. It was because of that dog that they met and became friends in the first place. Sure she has Rise and Nanako in here with her, but it's not really the same. Nanako is too young and wouldn't be able to relate to her, while Rise seems to have found new people to be with. Then again, she only became friends with the idol because of the murder case, otherwise, she didn't think Rise would even bother with a plain jane like her.

Her eyes are a little red, so it was obvious she's been crying earlier. She closes her phone and puts it away in her pocket when she notices a big pile of flat rocks on her feet. She picks one and stands up. She throws the rock as hard as she could, and watches it skip on the water's surface. It made her smile and feel a little better, so she picks another stone to throw. In the back of her mind, she thinks of what could happen in the future if Yukiko is still here in this strange world, all the fun things they could do together and what adventures await them here. But then again, maybe it is for the better. After the Space Olympics, she knows this place could be dangerous. Getting to spare her friend from that kind of danger is a good thing... But it doesn't make things easier for the time being.

Blues had just been out for a walk when he caught sight of a rock skipping across the water. It didn't take him long to look around and catch sight of the person tossing them. He didn't approach and instead picked up a stone of his own to give it a try for himself.

Chie notices someone throw another stone. She was little impressed by the throw since the stone skipped more and farther than the ones she threw earlier. She couldn't help but let out a "Nice"

[whistles_the_blues]

Well he had to keep himself entertain himself somehow while he traveled alone for years, the robotic strength and precision helped out as well. He looks over in her direction and shrugs.

"Looked like fun." Man of many words right here.

[pint_sized_carnivore]

Chie isn't very talkative right now herself.

"It is. I used to do this a lot back then, thinking I would make that really huge fish in the river appear if I disturb the water enough"

[whistles_the_blues]

"I did too, did a lot of a traveling." He said with a bit of a shrug.

"Food may have done a better job, but to each their own."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Food? But that would be a waste. My dad grills up some pretty good burger patties. No way I'm sharing it with some fish" She giggled a bit.

"But traveling huh? What for?"

[whistles_the_blues]

"I didn't quite mean something like a burger." Though in truth all food was pretty much the same to him, not really something he cares for.

"For the sake of it really, because I wanted to."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Wow, you must have some thirst for adventure, huh? You know, I've been wondering what is it like outside of the castle grounds, and the town"

[whistles_the_blues]

"You could say that." He folds his arms and looks out beyond the river. "I actually haven't went too far beyond the castle since I arrived. I wouldn't mind going to see for myself."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Could be fun. I'll go with you if you ever plan to go somewhere out there"

[whistles_the_blues]

"...I wasn't really planning to take anyone with me." Blunt as always.

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Ooh, you're one of those lone-wolf types like in TV and movies? I get it"

[whistles_the_blues]

"Something like that." While it's totally true, there's a bundle of issues as well.

"Are you capable of looking after yourself?"

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"I like to think so. I never fought by my own before, I always had my friends with me"

[whistles_the_blues]

There's a bit of a huff at that.

"I didn't mean in a fight, though that helps. If you plan to go out and travel you'll have to be able to care of yourself, your kind needs to eat."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Oh, right" she thought in her mind. She immediately jumped to the conclusion that he was talking about fighting, because that's really all she's been good at.

"Yeah, I don't think I can last there without having some food. I get hungry pretty fast" She shook her head a bit, until she just caught on what Blues said. "Wait, what do you mean by 'my kind'? Are you from a different planet or something?"

[whistles_the_blues]

"Well you'd have to at least be able to feed yourself while out and about."

"No, I'm from Earth. I'm a machine, taking care of myself comes a bit easier." To a degree at least.

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"What?! You're really a robot? C-Can I touch you?"

"O-Okay. Sorry. I'm just. We don't have robots in our world..." She chuckles nervously and looked away. It's apparent she's hiding some sadness from her tone, and could be why she's acting weirder than usual.

[whistles_the_blues]

He catches that hint of sadness and gets a bit curious. Though he's not exactly out to pry, but he'll maybe he'll help out a little.

"...Fine." He doesn't have to like it, but she can touch him.

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"You sure? Well, if you say so..." Chie slowly extends her arm to poke him in the shoulder.

"Wow. I wonder what life would be like as a robot..." she said as she kept poking him.

[whistles_the_blues]

To be honest, This was pretty degrading right here. But well she was curious and did seem a little sad, maybe it would take her mind off what ever was going on for the moment.

"I suppose that depends what kind of robot you are."

"What kind of robot were you then?"
