She wasn't social, hell she was barely avoiding being a shut in lately. It seemed like everyone she knew was leaving her or, or being pulled away. Needing people was new to her and she was not at all sure she liked it. Ok point of fact she was pretty sure she didn't like it at all. But she'd grown accustomed to having people around and learning to let herself depend on them; even Stark.

She'd grown and learned from those friends, and specifically from Stark she learned that if you can't make friends, you can buy them. Or at least buy their momentary companionship through eccentric and grand gestures

Natasha had decided to do just that. No advertising but open to all she set up the loop for the movie. Popcorn and drinks as well as the customary props for the movie were all there for the taking. The sound system was crisp and loud, Stark would have no less. So there is was, her way of letting people cut lose just a little bit and have some silly fun in a city which habitually made them crazy.

Nat looked over the blankets, lawn chairs and inflatable furniture that as of yet sat empty. Hopefully someone would show up, if not he had the best front row seat in history all to herself. "Well... let's do the time warp, again."

Duke had only heard 'movies' mentioned through the journal - he vaguely remembered a time where people mentioned being locked in a 'theater' for some time, but he never bothered to ask what it was about.

Natasha might notice a very confused looking man off to one side - he can hear multiple people talking, but he can't find them with his magic, and he is pretty sure his journal is shut.

Someone hasn't been introduced to these sorts of things.

"That's what all... this is?" His hand motion starts near his ear, before moving out to indicate the area. No, he can't see what's going on, but he can make that less obvious through little things. He'll continue looking confused, then sort of give a shrug.

"... where?" He can sit and be confused about this. Not like he had anything he planned on doing.

Here is a thin smile. "You have noticed far quicker than most." He is still for a moment longer, and then with a wry tilt to his smile, his hand finds her arm in a way that might be familiar in a way a lady would be lead by a lord.

"Assume that a 'movie' involves some sort of image as well as all the sound?"
radiantwingedone: (I need not answer that)

"... Understandable." She's right about him not needing terribly much help - he's mostly worried about anything odd being on the floor than the chairs themselves. "Duke Pantarei." And the way he says it gives no indication whether he means that he is a duke, or that is his name. But his eyebrows go together as he tries to pick out exactly what that means. "Science fiction - the use of science to create what is impossible in reality, eclectic meaning that this... show uses a variety of sources?" Does he sound lost? He probably sounds lost.

"I am one from a world without such things, thus..." Yes, he is lost.

"I suppose it will have to remain a hope that it is still somewhat without visuals." Or he'll just be particularly confused anyway, because his understanding of humor is considered to be lacking.

Duke steps back and finds the chair, and takes the seat. Its with the ease of practice that he doesn't sit on his hair.

".... I'm not terribly familiar with popcorn, although I can get a vague idea of it." He pauses, and adds a little awkwardly. "And I would assume that tea isn't something that generally goes with movies."
radiantwingedone: (Hmn..?)

"... Cold sort then?" He noticed the specification.

Although he might get distracted in a moment by the words.
