SPARTAN-II Training in the Gym

Who: Noble Five + Anyone
What: Training. Magical defence and physical defence
When: Early morning on the 10th
Where: Paradisa's Gym
Rating: PEGI 12 (Or PG-13) for violence, maybe. Gonna be a lot of bruised fists if you're going against Jorge.

Common patrons in the Gym will notice an odd sight. There's a 7'4", armour clad supersoldier sat on one of the benches.

After his journal-wide announcement a few hours ago, Jorge is waiting to see who'll turn up for his little training exercise. His helmet is off, and he's looking a bit bored.

((OOC: Open to everyone! Would love some combat magic users to come in and try their hand.))

It takes him a bit longer than he would have liked to get down here, but the moment he steps through the gym's doors and notices the towering figure in armor, Rookie stops mid-walk. It was kept to only a brief moment though, having realized fairly quickly that staring was probably not the greatest of first impressions, before he finally made the rest of the way over.

"Sir."

Almost immediately, Rookie returns that salute with a more strict-to-protocol one. Falling into military habit like clockwork, but mostly for reasons of muscle memory than anything significant.

Jorge's statement, however, gets a firm nod before he'll let his attention slowly fall down to the hand. Then raise his own to return the gesture. "Same to you, sir."

A second's pause.

"And just Rookie will do."

The fact that Jorge was a lot more laid back compared to Kat and Six, was something new to Rookie. Though he had ever intention of sticking to more professional terms until he was comfortable enough to drop them around Jorge - as tended to be his habit, the ODST found it somewhat hard not to like the big lumbering giant.

Which is why there's a slight smile from beneath that helmet when the Spartan finally released his hand, before he let it fall back down to his side. Then he shifted his weight, and turned to give a considering look behind him towards the gym floor.

"Not sure. Never tried training with a Spartan before." Tilt of his visor back towards Jorge, almost thoughtfully. "Most I ever did was go on a few runs with Noble Two."

And she kicked his ass.

(ooc: Also wow, he's tall. sfls)

"To put it lightly, sir." There's an almost softer tone to his voice, but it was fairly easy to miss if one wasn't sharp enough. It was quickly shoved out of the way when he spoke again, though, and with far more amusement.

"So I've noticed." He grins, adding in with a chuckle. "Makes me wonder if you Spartans even know what fun is sometimes."

Then a pause, before there's a distinct curiousness reflected in his movements as he stared up at Jorge.

"What do you need?"

There's a bit of laughter, keeping his eyes set on the Spartan with an interested gaze. "Guess you'll just have to prove that to me sometime."

Rookie then gives a quirk of a brow, one that was implied in the way he moved his helmet up and down to examine Jorge.

"... All right."

"Remind me never to switch armor with you."

He'll give a slight tilt of his head as he watched Jorge's movements, but otherwise doesn't really make a point to move until the Spartan decides to give him some sort of direction. Not like he really knew where to start, after all.

"But no, can't say I've ever had any reason to."
