Both was always good! Only... both always meant that at some point you'd have to leave all the people you met at the castle, which sort of sucked. Still, it seemed even suckier to spend all your time at the castle completely alone. John hadn't actually given it much thought though, and instantly started making friends with everyone he met. Or... well okay, he didn't make friends with ALL of them, but he met a lot of people!
