Phoenix, not unlike his older self, couldn't stand the sight of his dear friend being upset about something, particularly when it seemed like it might be Phoenix's fault. He wracked his brain for what might be the source of the trouble, and then suddenly, it hit him--"Oh! Oh no, I bet I fell on it..."
He leapt to his feet, then, and fished around in his back pockets until he produced the candy bar in question. It was clearly broken, but still safely within its wrapper, and he held it out in his non-bloodied hand with a sheepish grin.
