"Ow." He'd already said that. Didn't matter, he was saying it again. He would have just liked to point out that he really wasn't her responsibility, he could take care of himself, but fortunately he didn't know what she was thinking. Or that she could probably hand him his ass if she wanted to.

He nodded again, letting it sink in. If she was this worried, there was probably a good reason for it, even if he didn't quite buy the tale of doom and gloom she was selling.
