For some silly reason, Kenzi actually thought she might be able to best Kitt at video games. KITT! Former computer? It was going to be a bloodbath.

"Yeah. You can be kinda not-sucky when you're relaxed and willing to enjoy yourself, Kittikins." She went over and grabbed her pj's, taking them into the bathroom to change and brush her teeth.

Face. Aimed at her back. "Thanks." He went over to his own bed - only stumbling a few times, so he was quite proud of his achievement - to fluff up the pillows and pull back the covers while he waited for her to finish in the bathroom.

Finished and changed, she sauntered out with a mug of water, holding it out to him. "Drink."

Then she jumped into her own bed.

He drank. As ordered. Then headed for the bathroom to do his own thing. With a few minutes to himself, he had time to properly think about what had happened earlier, how her lips had felt against his, how her breath had tasted.

He knew he brushed his teeth because he could taste the mint of the toothpaste, but he didn't remember doing it.

With a sigh, he got himself another mug of water and carried it out to his nightstand.

She was already tucked in, head on her pillows, watching him come out. The sliding privacy screens were open, and she watched him as he settled into bed, water on his nightstand.

"You good?"

He glanced over, nodding the affirmative. "All good on my end." If he could avoid having any dreams about people old or new.

"Good night, Kenzi." He settled himself in with a sigh, on his back and staring at the ceiling, hoping the night would pass quickly.

"Night Kitt," she sighed, turning over and closing her eyes, curled up on her side. Sleep came quickly for her, and it was full of half-melded thoughts and ideas that she was already pondering.
