Sam had heard about Willow. Word got around, even when it wasn't said to you directly, so when Buffy showed up for pie, he didn't think twice before handing her a slice.

That was when it had been a little busier. Now things have started to calm down, so he poured a glass of milk, before making his way over to the table and placing it down in front of her. He then took the seat across from her, letting his arms rest on the table.
