assassino: (flippant ❧ every man is mortal)

Ezio was in a pretty good mood.

Here is what he knew about London Tipton: she was a bit air-headed. She was chipper and pleasant. She was adventurous, to go meet a strange man for a date without even having seen his face or learned much about him.

So on the way down from the top of his tower, he contemplates what else this girl might be, and vaguely hopes she isn't dog-faced or something. If she was, he supposed he would just be learning a lesson about the pitfalls of dating strangers over the journal. Maybe, anyway. Perhaps he'd go for it anyway. By time he reached the lobby and sat down, he had decided that he would just wait and see. After all, modern girls had this "dating" thing, and he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. It was all just for fun and a good meal with good company.

But as luck would have it -- or perhaps just statistics, given Paradisa's propensity towards beautiful people -- when he turned to see the young woman standing on the landing, he knew he'd found yet another attractive new friend. Her dress wasn't like much of the other modern clothing he had seen, and in fact, the waistline reminded him somewhat of the dresses of his time.

Ezio grinned as he stood up and held up the roses in his hand.

"I have lovely flowers for a beautiful young woman I am to meet!" he called. "Would you happen to be signorina London?"
