[Ever since the party people started leaving, Kallen's been sort of antsy, and slightly on edge. She has a gift to give her friend, but she wants to do it in private, away from the reactions of other people. It's partly due to her feeling unsure, but it's mostly the explanation that goes with it is of the more intimate nature. She's mentioned part of it to him before, something that only a few close people know about. That in itself is a mark of trust.
Somehow, she's managed to get him to lead her to the roof of the house, which is where they now sit, looking out over the town. After a while of silence, she turns to him, a slight smile on her face.]
