Felix, too, was glad that Duke had followed through on his promise to alert Chimera to his plans, not only in part because of his burning curiosity, but the slight worry that Duke seemed to be shying away from the assistance for reasons he head yet to identify. Thus far, the blind mage had been one the most forthcoming subjects in terms of explaining his magic, so he wasn't sure why the idea having this process observed seemed to meet with resistance.
