Confused and afraid, Arya still raced for the packs. She seizes one without pausing and continues running. When she hears Katniss, she slows. The warning dies in her throat when she sees Katniss kill the other. She does not flinch. Hefting the pack over her shoulder, she continues running for the cover of the woods. She listens hard, hoping Katniss is following.
