He looked from Gren, and then around the room again, almost as if he hadn't already seen the inside of this apartment before. He had, of course, but his focus wasn't what it normally was... or rather, while it seemed normal to him, it was all just a trick of the drug and the way it seemed to stretch the moments out far longer than they lasted in reality.
He shifted focus again, walked over to the gun and looked down at it, though he didn't move to pick it up. "I wanted to see if you'd really answer."
