Who: Vereesa & Sylvanas Windrunner
What: PLAYING HOOKY
When: During the week in Paris
Where: ...in Paris
Rating: E for ELVES
Vereesa stood outside of the hotel, waiting a short distance away for the arrival of her sister.
It would be a different situation entirely if the two of them were abandoning their posts back home. Both ladies were sworn to their people, and running off without warning would be unspeakable. (Even if Vereesa had been guilty of that once or twice under special circumstances...)
Here, it was different. This was Paris on Earth, and their roles had been presumably assigned to them by none other than the castle that sent them there. She was not bound or sworn to her role, so there was no harm in either of them skipping out on it--just for the afternoon. Surely they wouldn't be terribly missed.
And they could always deal with their sister later.
She peered at the door as people continued to bustle in and out. It would be easier to spot Sylvanas were she not a human, but it did make blending in a great deal easier. Sylvanas would surely have no trouble sneaking out among the crowds.
