[ For anyone who saw him the day before, the King cuts a much less obvious (and eye-watering) figure. He walks past the various suits working in the croquet grounds, ignoring the obeisance paid to him. At the beginning of the maze, he pauses. A frown knits his brow. It's there he can be found, trying to consider something that continues to elude him. ]

[She had made herself helpful in the gardens the other day, but really she couldn't shake the thought that the King of Hearts was actually Gwaine. There were a few entries in the journal about it, other people convinced it was the same thing that had happened elsewhere. She doesn't want to dismiss those theories, but she's been through this before. She's had people come and go so many times, most of them not remembering the time before.

There is no guarantee that this was the same Gwaine she knew before. No promise written out that he'll be the same, that he'll remember. Part of her wonders if that is a better option. To slip back into this world unaware of the things that happened. Most of all, she thinks that it shouldn't be the choice of a building - even if she still isn't convinced that it's the building at all.

Jo's been wandering the perimeter of the maze, mostly trying to see if she can solve it without marking her way through it. When she turns the corner she nearly runs into the King.]

Ohshi-- sorry! I ... [She takes a step back and puts her hands up.] You would think after all the times I've run into a person, I'd start paying attention more.

[Allen had been trying to stay closer to the castle, while evading getting his head chopped off by the royal court. But he catches the sight of Gwaine lost in his thoughts at the entry of the maze, looking perplexed. Maybe now is the chance...he'll be slow to approach]

Gwaine?

[impetuous]

[ He continues frowning ahead, as if the answer to everything is behind the hedge. ]

Is it a name what makes it or it what makes its own name?

Well...it has to be there first before you can put a name to it, right?
