Valentine's Day - The Horror Continues
Who: Katniss Everdeen and Dr. Simon Tam
What: The Non-Date Event
When: Valentine's Day
Where: We start at the castle, and we go from there...
Rating: We're going to go with PG.
Valentine's Day.
Katniss stepped out of her room in the castle, where she had everything packed up and ready to go. She planned on spending tomorrow looking for a new place to stay, but with the holiday coming up? She wanted to stay put, so Simon could find her easily, and she could easily reach him.
Otherwise -- she was ready to leave this place.
She had changed her hair, and worn a slightly better shirt than usual, but those were her only concessions to the non-date. She didn't want Simon to think she didn't appreciate his friendship, so it seemed better to not ... be as slovenly as she had been, lately. Her hair was loose, only the front braided back, and while she still looked pensive, at least her eyes didn't carry the weight of her loss.
She also only had a knife at her hip, so this was a huge show of trust. Of the hope of an easy holiday, for once.
She walked her way over to Simon's room, rapped on the door smartly, then leaned against the frame and waited for him to answer.
