A Valentine's For You and Me [ Vanyel & Clow ]

Vanyel licked his lips as he checked the small room he kept for eating, slightly off from his living area and separated by a wall from his bedroom. It was a small space, not large, like his rooms at the Collegium, and he found it comfortable. He worried, a bit, it might not be big enough, remembering Muraki's room and how elegant it had been in a way he could never had imagined. Even Clow's room had a certain... look to it, and his retained a much older sort of look, a Collegium sort of look. But it was comforting to him, and he hoped that Clow liked it.
On the dining table was a bottle of wine, two glasses, and two settings. Plates set with his favorite dishes steamed, kept warm through Castle magic - roasted duck drizzled in a herb concoction, bread fresh from the oven, fluffy and soft. Butter, carrots, sweet apple cakes for desert - all of it his favorites, things he craved on his Circuits and nearly wept for when he returned home.
He smoothed down the deep, night sky blue tunic, tied about his waist with a silver belt. His trews were such a pale shadow of beige as to be white, his boots shined black, though they were soft and meant for indoors. Raven locks were brushed to a shine and hung about his shoulders. He looked to the small sofa he kept in the living room, smiling when he caught sight of Kero, the stuffed animal having always had a pride of place in Vanyel's rooms.
