Hearing another voice should not have surprised her so much, but she was so lost in the moment that she nearly forgot where she was. Clearly startled, she jerks her head in the direction the voice comes from before her expression becomes neutral once again.

She's familiar, but why is she carrying the cats? Not that something like that is strange or particularly out of place.
