Gren ignores the look like he does most of Vicious' attempts to be far more serious than was necessary. Not that he thought he could make the man have anything passing for a normal sense of humor - there were only a few situations that Vicious actually smiled and none of them were fit for the public. Which was fine with him, really. It made it feel like a privilege.
