He makes a little mound of soil over the bulb, there. That doesn't feel too hard though of course he still doesn't know if it will grow after he just leaves it in the ground. One hopes so.
"I suppose, yes," he pats the mound before moving to dig another hole beside it. "He would take pleasure in this, so I thought, if I did it in his place... he might be happy to hear of it when he does come here."
