It starts slowly at first - the slight bloom of blood seeping through the back of his jacket, hard to spot through the dark purple fabric. So too are the dark marks on his wrist, more shadow than anything terribly noticeable, especially given how much he gestures as he speaks. It only becomes easy to notice when the stains, swirled into links of chain, start to inch over the floor towards his brother.
