Truthfully Peter missed just being with Phoebe. Life was never going to be stable in Paradisa, but there were those quiet spurts that should be taken advantage of before the next crazy thing. And they'd gone far too long without a quiet spurt with one thing or another getting in the way. A date night was exactly what they both needed.

And he was even being a good boy and not looking into Phoebe's thoughts to ruin her surprise. So when he saw the minigolf sign, he was definitely surprised. Love meant laughing at bad jokes sometimes.
