Because Church actually has to eat now... unfortunately he doesn't really know how to cook. So he's just going to poke around for left overs and hope they aren't gross.

He's found some things to make a sandwich with and he's going to eat his sandwich, thank you very much. The robutt can just bugger off on his merry way. Besides, it's not like he's going to stop in the kitchen.

Plus, he's not waiting until he gets back to town to grab a quick bite to eat.

Town

Chie was just roaming around town again and saw a familiar face, who looks a little different than normal... She tilted her head as she tried to figure out what is up with this guy this time...

"Yo! Where's your armor? Not feeling like wearing today, huh?"

Church for his part was perfectly content to ignore Chie and continue on his way. But no, she had to actually talk to him.

"Huh? Well no, I mean it's not like I have to wear it everyday."

Not anymore, not since he got the body Harper built him. He frowns slightly, crap what this chicks name?

Sometimes people can just be walking through the hallways minding their own business when something totally random happens and throws off their entire day.

Today, that something happens to be a little girl, looking no more than five years old (and small for her age at that), rounding a corner at the exact same time as Church from a completely different angle.

The results are predictable, ending with the small girl collapsed on the floor, gently rubbing her smarting backside.

"Owwww~!"

She frowns and looks up at the offending human tower, intending to give him a piece of her mind, when a flash of recognition sparked in her eyes. He looks kind of like...

"... Church-san?"

"Yeah, because that would be really fucking comfortable."

He rolls his eyes.

"I usually wear it around the Castle, if I plan on being out for any length of time."

"Right, yeah. What's up with you though? You seem different, besides not wearing your turtle shell"

"Oh! Shit, sorry."

Church winces and looks down at the little kid he almost flattened. There's something oddly familiar about her...

"Rise?"

He frowns and takes a step back. Seriously? Is she just going to be younger every time he meets her?

He gives her a skeptical look. Ok so he was in a better mood than usual... but he didn't think he looked any different. Did he?

"So, whatcha up to?"

"Just out to pick some stuff up and get something to eat."

He shrugs and jerks a thumb back in the direction he had been walking.

"Don't you stay up at the Castle? What brings you to town?"

"I got bored. There's nothing to do at that place..."

Hell, there's probably less to do down here. But he was used to living in the universes most boring places.

"Yeah, but I might as well get fresh air while I'm at it"

"And since I got no where to go, I might as well follow you around" Chie grinned.

He scowls at her.

"Where did you get the idea that you were going to tag along with me?"
