Who: Clow, Vanyel, and Muraki
What: A chance encounter of the awkward kind
When: Evening of June 20th
Where: Aboard the cruise ship on it's way to San Diego
Rating: let's go with Pg-13 for now
Muraki could see the city in the distance and was grateful for it. He did not dislike ships as a rule, but the whole experience was rather banal. Not that he would have traded that for being on the island. He was generally capable of handling himself, but he would not have liked to gamble how he would stack up against a giant beast designed by nature to be a killer. Strange to both and envy and fear something.
He blew out a puff of smoke and flicked his cigarette over the side nonchalantly before turning back to head inside. If they were going to dock soon he wanted to be ready to go as soon as it got there.
