He hits the wall with a huff, like she knocked the wind out of him. His fury reflected back to him by the unreadable visor.

Eyes flick over to her hand as it flexes, he can hear just the faintest hint of the servos. His first thought is that she still sounds envious. But then she's brushing his cheek and he can't help but lean into her touch, just a few centimeters.

"I have the blueprints." Obviously he isn't letting this go. Because it sounds too much like letting her go and he can't do that. He's never been able to do that. He never will.
