TOKYO OPT-IN 1/4
Who: Opt-in characters
What: What is even going on and then there's a monster
When: Forward-dated to 10pm, 20/July
Where: Tokyo... or is it?
Rating: PG/PG-13
Whatever you were in the middle of doing, you suddenly find yourself in what appears to be an abandoned garage, in the blink of an eye.
There is a bunch of weird-looking technology everywhere, cables and wires connected to machines lined with blinking lights. There are screens all over the room, with grids and maps on some of them and scrolling, foreign text on others. One of the screens projects a constantly rotating image.
There's also a platform in the middle of the room. And you all happen to be standing on it.

It shouldn't. Whatever's happening, castle is causing.

Just like everything else that's gone wrong around here. Great...
[Well, the trip to Tokyo was nice while it lasted. Utena sighs and takes a look around, and when she speaks, its in her normal tone of voice]
But, where's everyone else? From the castle, I mean.
[Wait, they didn't separate them, did it? The last time that happened was when they went up into space, and- well. The last thing Utena wants is a repeat of that incident]
no subject
Safe, probably. I'm Cassandra.
[She comes a little closer to Utena now, watching her and reading her to find out what they've got to work with, the two of them. She's calmer now it seems, which is good. Worried, but that's normal, Cass is too. But there's something very good she's picking up on...]
You can fight?

Utena, Utena Tenjou. And yeah, I can fight a bit - what about you?
no subject
And that question? It's one of many reasons she misses her batsuit right now.]
Lots of training. Do you have, uh... superheroes, in your world?
no subject
Just on TV. ...why do you ask?
[She has a feeling where this is going. Months ago she would have thought it was nuts, but hey, she's already met space aliens, Italian assassins, and wizards, so why not add superheros to crazy magic castleland.]
no subject
I'm one. Batgirl.
[Not even the only one, too. Paradisa really is full of strange things.]
no subject
Hey, I've heard of you!
[Not from home - from the impromptu costume party that the castle forced everyone into]
You're friends with Ezio, right? Ezio Auditore?
no subject
Yes. You are too?
[Ezio if you've been putting the moves on someone this young...]

[See? It's perfectly innocent! ...or at least, as innocent as someone teaching a teenage girl how to stab things more efficiently can be.]
no subject
[You just tell Cass if he starts getting out of hand, Utena. She'll knock his ass out.]
no subject
[She's resolute; besides, she thinks, it's better than the alternative. If she has a choice between a tough teacher and complete helplessness, well, that's not a difficult choice, is it?]</small.
no subject
[But she doesn't think Ezio would pile more than Utena could handle on top of her. On Connor maybe, but Ezio is still operating under all of those dumb "girls can't take as much as guys" assumptions.]
How do... you usually fight? With weapon?
no subject
[Remember: superhero. A real life, in-the-flesh superhero. It's really amazing, isn't it? But she doesn't have time to gush - first they have to get out of this]
