Castiel gave another firm nod, remembering the conversation he and Meg had less than a day before she had died, and though that thought caused him to go a little more somber again just briefly this was also a second chance, all at once.

But it was all still a little surreal and though he could read her expression and what it meant, he shied away from actually acting on it just yet. He did, however, rest his forehead gently against hers for a moment in a gesture of affection, before straightening again like it had never happened.
