[Log] In the Silence of the Night...
Who: Sheena Fujibayashi & Some Visitors up to no good... (Then anyone else who comes by)
What: A chance meeting.
When: Tuesday, Sept 24. At night.
Where: The castle.
Rating: PG-13/R (?) Warnings for violence and death.
[From the moment Sheena had awakened, she had known something was wrong. The animals were unusually quiet; the dogs weren't barking at the birds like they do every morning, and her cat wasn't yelling in her ear to wake up because he was hungry and needed to be fed NOW. Upon opening her eyes, however, she discovers a somewhat strange--and a little amusing--truth.
Yeleurk had, indeed, been meowing at her, but nothing was coming out. At first, it was amusing, but after several minutes of this and the panicked look on the cat's face, Sheena, thinking he had suffered a loss, scooped him up to comfort him--only to freeze when she discovered her own voice had disappeared.
Throwing back the covers, she had done the first thing anyone who had lived here long enough would do: She had checked the journal and discovered that yes, it was a loss, but for everyone in the castle--something that hadn't sat well with the ninja. Skimming over the entries, she noticed most people were angry, some confused, but overall, they seemed okay.
Still, she hadn't been able to shake the feeling that something more was about to happen--like it usually does--and the feeling had grown more intense as the day went on until she hadn't been able to take it anymore. She had decided she was going to the castle to investigate. But first, she sent a request to Danny asking him to watch the animals if she wound up in the clinic (like usual)--a task that took longer than expected since he had needed convincing, and she just couldn't yell at him...
Now, after making sure everything had been taken care of, she's on her way to the castle, her late start putting her at the entrance just as the sun's beginning to set, painting the sky in various hues of pinks and purples. She takes a few minutes to scout the area, and seeing that everything is fine here, heads to her "base"--her room. By the time, she reaches it, however, the sun has completely set, throwing the place in semi-darkness and casting strange shadows on the walls.
Her hand's just about on the knob when she hears a distinct jangle--extraordinarily loud like a gunshot in the eerie silence--and she turns, her guard up immediately as she takes a step or two towards the noise, her body tensed for action.]
[ooc: After her death, anyone's welcome to come by and investigate and tag each other!]
