Letting things go off with a bang
Who: Harry Potter and Everyone!
What: Harry thinks about Guy Fawkes night back home in his world.
When: 5th November
Where: The Library
Rating: G
Harry is sat across a table in the Library, with his Snitch fluttering about over his head, as he reads. He isn't really reading the book, as his mind is elsewhere at the moment. Today is November the 5th and back home is bonfire night or Guy Fawkes night. Muggles and wizard folk around the United Kingdom will be having fireworks parties and other celebrations. Harry sighs and wonders if they will have such a celebration here within the castle. Considering that many residents probably won't know what firework night is, it is highly unlikely.
He just misses home. He misses Hogwarts and the firework celebrations they have there. Fred and George's fireworks are the best. Weasley Wizard Wheezes. Who could have thought it? Harry still remembers the time in his fifth year, when Fred and George let off fireworks during their O.W.Ls exams. Professor Umbridge was not very happy at all. The old toad deserved it though. Harry looked up from the book he was reading, which was about different makes of broom. Was anyone else around? What about Hermione, Remus or Professor Dumbledore? They would know what firework night was all about.
"Perhaps I should let off some fireworks for myself. Just little ones outside in the castle grounds." Harry spoke up to the little Snitch above his head.
