Who: Simon Tam, River Tam and Katniss Everdeen
What: Simon wants the two most important women in his life to meet each other again.
When: November 19th, afternoon
Where: Out in the forest
Rating: Can't see it getting above PG
Not wanting to make Katniss feel brushed aside or make her feel like he wasn't going to be there for her any more, not so soon after she had lost the one remaining person left here from her world and some of her other friends, Simon had put off bringing River to meet her again.
However, he felt like a few weeks- and another world change- meant that now was a good time. Or as good as any.
River had seemed enthusiastic about the idea of meeting her "other sister", and so Simon had taken her into the forest to find the reclusive girl. As they walked, he smiled at River and squeezed her hand.
"Nervous?" he wanted to know. He certainly was a little, even though he had no reason to be aside from his still-present anxiousness that River was going to leave him again at any moment; for now, River remembered him, Katniss still loved him, and he loved both of them. That was enough to keep their bond going.
