seems like everywhere you turn, catastrophe reigns...
Who: Remus Lupin and Sirius Black.
What: Waking up from his canon update.
When: Late afternoon.
Where: Remus' Room.

"Mmn...?" Remus sighs softly and shifts in his sleep, eyes slowly fluttering open. For a moment, he's confused. A mere moment ago he'd been awake and staring down at the letter clamped in his shaking hands, his eyes glued to words he'd never, ever in his life thought he'd have to see. (James and Lily Potter, dead.) The next moment he was here, back in his room in Cair Paradisa, Sirius holding his hand gently as he sits protectively by his bedside.
He turns his head to look at him, eyes already tearing up again as a familiar anger bubbles in the pit of his stomach. He doesn't want to believe any of it. He doesn't want to believe that Sirius was responsible for the loss of their best friend, that good, loyal Sirius Black had betrayed them to Lord Voldemort. It was painful to look at him. To know that his suspicions had been correct, despite hoping that Sirius would prove him wrong, despite still loving him so deeply after everything that had happened.
Sitting up, he yanks his hand free from Sirius' grasp, glaring daggers through the tears that threaten to spill over his cheeks. If Remus had the heart to do it, he'd curse him right then and there.
"You. How could you?"
