Meg could hardly hide the smirk that crossed her face over how much Dean wasn't quite Dean. She tried to cover it up with a sweet smile as she leaned in to take his coat and hat, just as ladylike as she was compelled to be.
She laughed airily as she hung them on the coat rack that he damn well could have reached himself. "Don't mind Danny. Just one of those teenage moods they get in, I'm sure. Sammy will be much happier to see you. He's just finishing a nap, but I suppose we can wake him up a bit early. You haven't seen the nursery since I redecorated, have you?"
The domestic small talk that was flowing out of her in this whacked out world change was just too much, and Meg couldn't help rolling her eyes at herself as she turned to head up the stairs to the baby's room.
