Who: Vereesa and you?
What: Grooming her mount!
When: The stables
Where: Afternoon of the 31st
Rating: G
For a month now, Vereesa's had the company of a companion she thought she'd not see again for some time. The hippogryph she'd had with her when she and her sisters had ventured into the Dead Zone had somehow found its way back. "Somehow" likely involved the castle giving her a gift for Christmas.
The only thing about it that troubled her was the fact that she'd assumed it had been in the care of her sisters all this time. Her sisters were still out there, weren't they? If her hippogryph had somehow been whisked away by the castle, there was no doubt it could have done the same to her sisters. It had done that to her, separating her from them when she had least expected it.
Her hands run along the fine feathers, though she's still consumed with thoughts and doubts about her family's well-being. They were all that she had in this world, even if they were not with her presently. Brock mourning for Molotov had only served to remind Vereesa of what little family she had left, and how desperately she longed for them.
The hippogryph seems to respond to her thoughts, moving its head to nuzzle her as they seemingly partake in a silent conversation.
