The events of Lunar New Year had been somewhat of a rollercoaster, and none of it had left Joshua particularly satisfied. Teaching Spike his lesson didn't seem to help, nor did training in the woods. What was the point, when nothing offered a challenge? He would never be able to truly vent, to express himself. Not unless he could finally stop Paradisa proper.
He had an agreement with someone, though, and maybe that would help. She was just as human as Spike, as Lucrezia, but still different. Enough to maybe offer a challenge. If not... If not, there was something he had been wondering at for a long time, more-so than ever since knowing Lucrezia. He had told her the Dead Zone was the safest place from him, but that felt like an eternity ago. Now, it would be better if he could follow her anywhere.
His landing on the rooftop is gentle, though who knows what little thing might awaken a Bat. There's only one he's interested in waking up (if she isn't awake already), stopping just over Cassandra's room and leaning to hang his head down just outside her window, knocking on the windowsill for extra effect.
