The Doctor follows Spike in and watches as he sits.
"Very true. But then you could be telling me what I want to hear and not the truth now." As for that, he's happy to see that Spike does appear to be doing well. His gaze down as the dog runs towards him, the Doctor grins. He likes dogs. Cats not so much.
"Hello. Where did you come from?" Talking to the dog? Absolutely. With a smile he lifts his gaze back to Spike. "No, and if I didn't know better I'd say you weren't happy to see me. I think I'm hurt. I am however very pleased to see you're looking better."
Coming to the couch, he points at the seat as if asking for an invitation to sit. "I have been working on something that you might be able to make use of if required."
