Food fi yuh rass.
Who: Miles Edgeworth, Geoffrey Chaucer, Phoenix Wright (And Veritas)
What: West Indian-themed dinner party. No ganja involved.
When: Saturday, March 3rd,
Where: Room 502, Miles Edgeworth's room
Rating: Spicy Somewhat safe. Let's hope it stays that way. Semi-casual.
Ever since Phoenix's unfortunate fall which incapacitated him for two weeks, Phoenix and Edgeworht had spontaneously developed a weekly (and at times, bi-weekly) pattern of having a themed dinner event, taking place in Edgeworth's room, in which all foods and decor would be based upon, or otherwise influecned by, a selected country or region. Tonight is Caribbean Night.
Edgewrth had only been to Jamaica once
In due time, the castle's ghosts prepared a feast far surpassing the stomach capacity of three (or four) individuals. Upon a large, sand-sprinkled table littered with seashells, there lay three bowls of curried channa and potatoes, goat and shrimp; jerk chicken; slightly sweet fesitval with delicately spongy breaded insides; oxtail; rice and peas; a medium-sized bowl of piping, yellow dhal puree; three, large roti folded into quarters; ackee and saltfish; there was also a bowl of cut fruit including mangoes, otaheite apple, june plum, and others.
As for the condiments, there were three, small glass bowls with a spicy-sweet tamarind sauce, mango chutney, and guava jam. At the right side of the table, there were the beverages: Sorrel, with potent hints of ginger, Ting, and thick, soursop juice.
The decor is as follows: Animated beach wallpaper to give the feel of actually being on a beach. Smells of the sea. Music playing in the background, including steel pans, reggae, soca, chutney music. A large, flat-screen television playing carnival scenes with flamboyantly costumed 'limers', sequined, scantily-clad beauties flailing around to soca music and large floats.
Food references: Festival, ackee and saltfish, roti, curried channa and potatoes,

I put up with Gwaine when he taunts me. I put up with Cole when he makes snarky comments. I put up with Felix when he completely baffles me. And we're all friends.

[He's also bursting with joy when he gets to help Edgeworth, but, you know. That's neither here nor there... because he doesn't want it to be.]

[End of discussion. He wins. He picks something up and takes a tiny little bite. His game needs to continue. D:<]
I'm guessing that there are no virgins in this room, true or false?
no subject
Er, true for me. Definitely not a virgin.

this is me not seeming interested at all in Edgeworth's response]no subject
What a brazen-...!
What relevance is there to this conversation?
no subject
I beg your pardon. Did I offend? It was not my intention to bring a rosy blush to that face of yours, I only meant to continue our game. I am a rather crude man.

no subject
Very well, then. I shall assume that you are a virgin and carry on with the game.

[He rests his chin in his palm.
...After a bit of silence, he holds up three fingers.]
no subject
...you do realize that could mean anything in this context, don't you?
no subject
no subject
I believe the meaning was quite clear. Bravo, dear man.
no subject
Whose side are you on, anyway, Geoff?
no subject
...I would hardly call my past lovers an, 'accomplishment.'
no subject
[To Miles.] That bad, then?

[Giving Edgeworth A Look.]
no subject
[He turns back to Phoenix with a grin.] Does that mean I can expect juicy stories from you?
no subject
[A scowl]
...even if they were twins.
no subject
no subject
Yes! Perhaps- perhaps you only slept with one woman!

[Laughing, laughing.]

Okay, I mean, Iris was... well, that was more recent. Than Dahlia.
[And by "more recent" he definitely means "right before coming to Paradisa." Neat.
the other was in college; the more you know]no subject
