Noah fills a second teacup, sets it on the table, and sits down. His hand nearly obscures the cup as he holds it, not drinking.
"Nothin' comes without a price. I dinnae like that I did this much," he says, indicating the changed room and the few things he'd asked for; the humble stoneware cups and the much less (but just as comfortable) fancy bed. "Seems everyone around here takes it for granted."
