[ Had it been anyone else but her mother explaining where they were and what to expect here, Arya would not have believed them. The concept was hard to understand much less swallow. But if there is someone in the world she still trusts wholeheartedly it is her mother. She would not lie to Arya. Not about something like this.

Thus after she found a moment to wander away from Catelyn, she decided to explore the castle, Needle at her side. If she was to be here for a while, she needs to know what can be found. She had always enjoyed discovering new places, talking to new people. Maybe a day to tire herself out was all she needed to sleep through the night again. ]

[squirrelhunter]

[There's someone stalking into the lobby, a scowl on his face. He's obviously not happy.

There's also a crossbow slung over one shoulder as he heads off towards the main doors. What do?]

[persequor]

[ She follows. ]

Are you going on a hunt?

[squirrelhunter]

Yeah. Need t'get outta this fuckin' place.

[This is probably Arya's first encounter with a Southern States accent. Enjoy.]

[persequor]

[ No, but she's been exposed to enough accents that she doesn't blink. She falls into step beside him. ]

What kind of game can you find here?

[squirrelhunter]

[Normally? He would have shrugged this kid off and continued walking. But, considering she wasn't asking what was wrong and was providing distraction from what was wrong.]

Anythin'. Rabbit, deer, squirrel.

[It seems as though the game just... appears when he's paying attention.]

[persequor]

Can I come? I've helped my brothers before. I know to be quiet.

[squirrelhunter]

[He gives Arya a quick look up and down. Well, he did take Lucrezia Borgia, so why not.]

Sure. If y'ain't got nothin' better t'do.

[on the grounds, there's a blue pony taking a nap under the shade of a large tree. Those ears twitching in the direction of the girl indicates that she's not as deeply asleep as she looks.]

Library

[wilder]

[Zelos is in one of the corner chairs of the library, far away from the view of the more common routes in the library. He's curled up in the chair, clearly comfortable and his hair tied back, brushed back over the arm of the chair. He's currently pretty engrossed in whatever he's reading]

[persequor]

[ She might be in a dress, but that is only because her mother tries to keep her in them. She follows on his heels, her steps quiet. ]

Where are you from?

[persequor]

[ Arya stops. She blinks then tries rubbing her eyes. Yes, that's a mare. With a horn. And wings. She approaches quietly, not wanting to spook her. ]

[squirrelhunter]

[He glances back, swinging his crossbow around to load an arrow into it as they leave the castle and towards the woods.]

Georgia. [A pause.] Earth, I guess.

[persequor]

[ Neither name means anything to her. ]

What's it like?

[squirrelhunter]

When I left? Swarmin' with Walkers. [Another pause here. Referencing them as "Walkers" hadn't gone well before. Might as well snub the question...]

The walkin' dead. Corpses, wanderin' 'round eatin' anythin' they can get their hands on.

[persequor]

[ En-route to return to her mother's chambers, Arya steps into the library for the sake of seeing the place even if the books hold little interest for her. Her braids are mussed and her dress, new when she put it on that morning, is already flecked with mud and dirt. Needle hangs from her right hip. In her left hand, she holds a bunch of green orchids with a purple center for Catelyn. She does not look like her mother; there's too much of her father in her.

She would have left immediately after circling the library if not for the eye-catching red hair. She recognizes him from earlier that morning. She had spotted him out the window when she sat on the windowsill. She could not sleep and she had not wanted to disturb her mother, sleeping next to her. She approaches, head tilted in curiosity. ]

Excuse me.

[wilder]

[He'll look up when he's addressed, using his finger to hold his place in his book as he takes a look at the person addressing him. Some young girl? Huh.]

Yes, my little darling?

[persequor]

[ She blinks. ]

I've heard of White Walkers, but they're all gone. How can they walk if they're dead?

[persequor]

How good are you with that?

[ She nods to his sword. ]

[wilder]

[an amused snort]

Oh just one of the best in the kingdom I'm from. Nothing special.

[persequor]

What's it's name?

[doublethefun]

[she finally opens her eyes, glancing curiously at her visitor. And then she yawns hugely, stretching her forelimbs and her wings to their limit before settling back down and tucking her forelegs under her.]

Can I help thee?

[persequor]

You talk!

[there's definitely a teasing smile. Good thing she thinks foals are cute.] As do thou. Surprising, is it not?

[He takes a second to remember which sword he's eqiupped. Oh yeah the former cursed one]
