Tonight, in the sky, there are fireworks.

You can see them from the hotel window, but for a better look -- so suggests the helpful concierge at the desk -- you'll want to head to Sumida, where locals and tourists alike gather on the edge of the Sumida River.

[Mitsuru didn't bother with the yukata. She knows something is gonna go down with these world changes, so she's not gonna be wearing something impractical when that happens. Instead, she's wearing her usual black jacket, white riding pants and a pair of black riding boots with no high heels.

She's just leaning against her parked motorcycle while watching the fireworks. She still manages to enjoy the fireworks despite what could happen anytime soon. Right beside her is a pocket sized, die-cast metal F-15 Eagle model with a red tip on it's right wing. It's sitting idly on the seat area of her motorcycle]

[Heeello there, miss red-head. With Wizard resting on his arm, Ohjiro steps up beside Mitsuru, staring up at the fireworks.]

Seems the festival came quite early this year.

[He'd assume it's got something to do with the castle.]

[She looked to her side to see Ohjiro, who looks like he fits in this time perfectly, so she didn't assume he's from the castle]

It is indeed.

The festival should be on the 27th... I wonder why it's so early.

[He'll look over at her and smile.]

The castle's magic, perhaps?

[Castle? Mitsuru raised an eyebrow]

I'm sure it is...

[Mitsuru resumed looking at the fireworks]

You're a new face. Are you a recent arrival or one of the more elusive residents?

I arrived about three weeks ago. I still have a bit of trouble wrapping my head around all of this.

[He can be elusive, though. Dodging groupies and all. He looks at the fireworks.]

And I certainly didn't expect to be sent to an older version of home.

I see. Three weeks seems to short of a time to spend in the castle, and too soon for your first world change. I understand your confusion, so if you need anything I would be glad to assist.

I appreciate it. If anything, I wonder how often the castle chooses to do this.

[He'll look back at her.]

My name is Ohjiro Mihara, by the way.

It's at random. That is why we almost must be prepared for such.

Mihara, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Mitsuru Kirijo.

So it is random... I should have expected as much. [He really hopes it's not always as dangerous as he heard it was.]

A pleasure to meet you as well, Kirijo-san.

[He turns his attention to that little F-15 on the seat.]

Ah, are you an aircraft enthusiast?

[Mitsuru looked to the F-15 toy and chuckled]

No. It was in my room when I woke up, I thought I'd give it to my... friend who is an aircraft enthusiast.

[He notices that little pause before she said 'friend'. You hidin' something, gurl?]

I see. That's very kind of you.

[He can't help but look the little F-15 over.]

I believe I remember seeing these in Japan's forces... but their names elude me.

The name eludes me as well. I believe it's designation is an... Eagle. Military technology was always been the expertise of one of my company presidents.

[princeandwizard]

An Eagle? I see. Its red wing is a little curious, isn't it?

[He'll look back up at her then, looking a bit surprised.]
