GARAGE
Could I trouble you to move Zeiram off the platform? The containment field is stable enough to touch.
[You may recognize the voice as the one that came from Iria's wrist earlier. Apparently, "Bob" is a computer program. His voice is coming from one of the monitors.]

Scream in horror, reaction.gif, run and hide, try to shoot it? What do you do?]

WHAT THE SHIT
And still, the white face shrieks, attached by a tentacle as it whips around in a violent attack.
How many times do you have to kill it?
(Protip: The white mask is its weakness, if you weren't paying attention. Aim there and finish Zeiram off! Feel free to NPC your fights with Zeiram's final form; it'll be throwing its tentacled back and forth to hit people and trying to bite whoever it can.) ]
SAVE IRIA SUBTHREAD
Over on the monitor, Bob is rotating frantically.]
The Zone is closing and something's wrong with the power! Look for loose wires -- anything! If I can't get Iria back in time, she'll die.

With little regard for being electrocuted, she grabs for whatever she can see, twisting and bending, trying to shove things where they look like they might go. Something has to work, right?]

And I need a good shot at the thing's face... [And she wasn't quite quick enough to dodge there, getting nailing in the arm, a chunk taken out. She cries out, but she's not letting it stop her.]

Try not to die.

[Waiting for a good shot to become available, but that injury did sting. It'll leave a nice mark. She's dodging now to prevent a repeat wound.]

Bob is on the screen as well (of course -- where's he going to go?), spinning leisurely. You can speak to either of them if you wish.]

Except Souji is a polite guy so he has to phrase that differently. Also he has to be nice first, she did feed him (sorta), after all.]
Is that thing safe to... do whatever you're going to do with it?
no subject
Anyway, Iria looks over at the pile of flesh that once was Zeiram, and shrugs.]
He's dead. I don't think a corpse can do much harm. I'm not going to be paid nearly as well as I would if I captured him alive, but there didn't seem to be any alternative.
no subject
And yeah, that thing looks dead, but it's looked dead before, man. You can't trust mutant alien hat monsters.]
Paid. You're a... bounty hunter?
[Or exterminator, he's really not clear on the right terminology here.]
Who's paying you?
no subject
She nods at the first question; bounty hunter is the correct term. At the second, though...]
My employer.

You don't want to tell me who they are, or you can't?

[Just... very hard to kill, apparently.]
I'm just glad all of you made it out alright.
no subject
And I'm glad too. These people have friends back where we came from who wouldn't be happy if they hadn't come bake.
