[After flying around the room and crashing into the wall, the containment field shuts down and the saucer-shaped bit of Zeiram abruptly splits open. Fleshy membranes bubble as another monster emerges from it, like a moth bursting from a cocoon. Its body is a mosaic of different creatures; insectoid legs twitch at its back, vestigial limbs flop at its sides; its structure is unlike any creature imaginable, half-formed in countless simultaneous iterations as it drags the fleshy saucer behind it, attached by bloody cartilage.

And still, the white face shrieks, attached by a tentacle as it whips around in a violent attack.

How many times do you have to kill it?

(Protip: The white mask is its weakness, if you weren't paying attention. Aim there and finish Zeiram off! Feel free to NPC your fights with Zeiram's final form; it'll be throwing its tentacled back and forth to hit people and trying to bite whoever it can.) ]

[Not up to the task of fighting off Zeiram? Too bad at fighting, too feaked out, or too concerned about Iria?

Over on the monitor, Bob is rotating frantically.]

The Zone is closing and something's wrong with the power! Look for loose wires -- anything! If I can't get Iria back in time, she'll die.

[Too concerned about Iria? CHECK. She's got this Bob, she's leaping out of the path of Zeiram's weird new form and landing in a controlled roll just by the... power thing? She doesn't even know, her answer is to hit things until the work again, but Bob says loose wires so she'll try to find some.

With little regard for being electrocuted, she grabs for whatever she can see, twisting and bending, trying to shove things where they look like they might go. Something has to work, right?]

Hurry! Look where Zeiram landed, maybe he knocked something loose.

[Well, when it doesn't rain it pours. Maladict jumps out of the way of one of those tentacles, looking around for something, anything she can use as a weapon]

[Maladict isn't the only one avoiding the tentacles and getting ready to fight. Though she's fortunate enough to have a gun. The only thing is, she knows she is running low on ammo. She's holding on to make it count... But damn, that tentacle almost got Six in the arm.] Careful. Whatever we do, we need to make it count.

Couldn't agree more. [Lucky you, with your gun, she's a touch envious about it]

[Six was lucky she kept it on her all the time. She's dodging again, grateful that she's got Spartan endurance. But she knows if she get cocky, that thing its going to nail her.] I don't have much ammunition...

I don't have any. I'm just going for the trusty fists and hoping for the best.

[Six nods.] Fair enough. Just watch the tentacles. We need to get through this alive.

And I need a good shot at the thing's face... [And she wasn't quite quick enough to dodge there, getting nailing in the arm, a chunk taken out. She cries out, but she's not letting it stop her.]

Okay, I'll see what I can do. [And she'll charge ahead, in the hope of distacting it long enough for Six to get a shot in]

[Waiting for a good shot to become available, but that injury did sting. It'll leave a nice mark. She's dodging now to prevent a repeat wound.]
