[ Had it been anyone else but her mother explaining where they were and what to expect here, Arya would not have believed them. The concept was hard to understand much less swallow. But if there is someone in the world she still trusts wholeheartedly it is her mother. She would not lie to Arya. Not about something like this.

Thus after she found a moment to wander away from Catelyn, she decided to explore the castle, Needle at her side. If she was to be here for a while, she needs to know what can be found. She had always enjoyed discovering new places, talking to new people. Maybe a day to tire herself out was all she needed to sleep through the night again. ]

Games Room

[hyuuga]

[Hinata sits at a table in the Games Room, back to the door as she rolls four dice between her fingers. The small things are ones she still has issues remembering, and there's something about dice that had her remembering a game she played with someone who left the castle.

But... What he called it is beyond her.

She sighs and rolls the dice. Remembering is hard.]

[persequor]

[ Behind her, Arya accidentally steps on a remote. She stumbles back with a surprised cry when the television turns on. ]

[hyuuga]

[Hinata starts, scattering the dice and instead turning around, palms open and ready to attack--

A little girl and the television.

She immediately lowers her hands and relaxes her stance. Not a threat, not the war, just...Paradisa.]

...Are you all right?

[persequor]

[ She points to the television, her tone demanding. ]

What is that?

[hyuuga]

It's a, um... A television. It...shows things that have already happened.

[She pauses, wringing her hands together. She is far from the best person to be explaining technology she has rarely been around.

But...

She steps forward, looking between Arya and the remote.]

Um, would you... Ah, that is... May I? [She gestures toward the remote on the ground near her.]

[persequor]

[ Arya blinks at the almost painful shyness. She stoops to pick up the remote. She holds it out gingerly, as if it might bite her at any moment. ]

Here.

[hyuuga]

[Hinata reaches across and takes the remote from her. It takes her only a few seconds (just as long to look at it and find the correct button) to turn off the television.

She half-smiles at the silence.]

It took me a little while to get used to televisions, too.

[persequor]

[ She glances at the now dark screen and back to Hinata. ]

Is it also magic?

[hyuuga]

No. [She shakes her head.] At least... I-I don't think so. It's...technology. Um, it's a little hard to explain.

[persequor]

Does it show everything that has happened?

[hyuuga]

Not everything, no.. Um, just things that have been...recorded before. Like on the journal, but with, um, images to go with the voices. If that makes sense.

[persequor]

But doesn't the journal work through magic?

[hyuuga]

It does, yes... But technology is different. It's something anyone can do or make with...with some training. Um, maybe using the journal wasn't the best choice..

[persequor]

[ Frowning slightly, Arya cants her head to the side in confusion. ]

[hyuuga]

[She sighs and looks back at the ground.]
