Who: Kallen Kouzuki (
ardor), Zelos Wilder and eventually (
wilder), Rin Asano (
payback)
What: A surprise meeting
When: Saturday afternoon, June 30
Where: Paradisa Town, Dead Zone
Rating: PG-13 tops
[Ever since Rookie had left, Kallen had felt an empty place inside of her, like something was missing. She'd felt it before when others close to her had gone home, and each time, the missing piece seemed to get bigger and bigger. The most recent of her friends being sent home had caused her to withdraw, staying in her room most of the time, sans her now solo morning runs, usual exercise and caring for her growing menagerie. Three pokemon and a dog was more than enough for one girl to handle, and with her increasing feelings of isolation, she knew she had to do something before she snapped completely.
Now, after having found out Zelos was in the Dead Zone, she somehow convinced Rin to take Tad and join her on an impromptu camping trip. Pets were dropped at a sitter in the city, stuff was packed, and they were on their way.
That was roughly a day and a half ago.
As they rode into town, Kallen and Rin had split up to get a better idea of the place, the latter taking Tad for a good run or something. The redhead, however, was simply taking her time as she meandered about the area, not looking for anything in particular. She had a feeling Zelos would be there shortly. His trail wasn't hard to find.]

Ace?

I thought you'd be out here somewhere. Haven't died from lack of expensive food yet?
no subject
Somehow not, I'm surprised too.
You seriously came out here to find me?

[She returns a the smirk slightly.]
Sick of the castle, too.

[He makes a "heh" noise at the real reason]
I can't blame you there.

Outsiders probably give lame funerals anyway.

[She walks along now, looking at the surroundings.]

[he follows after. ] All the houses are abandoned, so choose whatever one suits your fancy.

Where are you staying?

[he points in the direction of the houses near the shore]
Over by the shore. It's a nice view.

Right this way, my amazing Ace!
[Standing straight, he'll start walking again towards that direction]

The peaches on the trees are safe to eat, so are the fishes in the water if you know how to catch any. Seem safer to eat than those eight legged sheep anyway.

So you said the peaches were safe to eat?

The peaches and the fish, yep!
