[Elliot looks up, surprised. She hadn't seen the other woman approaching her, but now she offers her a nervous smile.]

Who me? Yeah, I'm fine, well, as fine as anyone can be in situations like these I guess. Back home the only reason why we would get locked into the hospital is if there was a disease they were trying to stop from spreading or something. But then again, nothing in this castle is like it is back home so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised.

You should probably calm down. Nothing bad is happening. There are no monsters or diseases. Sit back and count this as your vacation.

Well, nothing is trying to kill us. That is about as close to a vacation as we get, unless Paradisa decides to send us back to Paris or something like that.

Da, we went to Paris for Christmas. There was also the time we were all pirates, and the time we were all in high school. For the most part, the other weird things have happened while we were still in the castle.

I'm glad I missed that last one. High school was bad enough the first time, I don't need to relive that. Any of it.

Did your high school also have aliens that were trying to kill you?

Of course. If I remember correctly, they were dehydrating people to death or something.

There was some sort of giant queen monster in the gym that had to be fought. I was tasked with keeping watch over an idiot instead of fighting.

Is there reason to be? But that was nearly two years ago, and the idiot is gone now, so [shrug].

Two years at the end of August. My husband has already hit his two year anniversary.
