Who: Clint Barton and YOU!
What: Exploring the castle during his Loss
When: All day of the 4th
Where: Anywhere you want to encounter him.
Rating: PG-13

It's been a few days, and Clint is getting restless.

He has the strong feeling that the him with memories wouldn't sit around the clinic moping, so he's up, pulling his socks and shoes on and grabbing his jacket. A little wander around the castle won't hurt, right? Get his bearings?

Hell, maybe it'll trigger a recall...

It happens to the best of them. If you could see the number of scars dancing across Vanyel's body, you might think the same.

"Oh, I am so sorry, that was entirely my fault," he said, sitting up quickly and getting to his feet to help the other, blinking when he saw Clint. "Clint?"

"Ah, to a degree," Vanyel nodded. "I suppose this might be the first time we have met in the flesh - well, human flesh. Last time you met me I was stuck as a peacock."

It had been a somewhat traumatic experience in Vanyel's life, but thankfully not the most. Clint had been a help to him and he enjoyed the man's company.

"My name is Vanyel Ashkevron."

[That caused the mage's brows to draw together.]

Nothing?

[His hands clenched at his sides.]

The castle's doing, no doubt.

"I would say I am a failure at that, unless you've remembered anything? I would offer to attempt to help you recover them through magic, but I am no mind healer," he shook his head.

"I would say it has too," he nodded, and then sighed. "I wish I could do more for you, help you jostle memories lose. I can explain about the Castle again if you need it."

He nodded, clapping his shoulder, like a soldier comforting a soldier. His friends in the army and his sister had taught him that.

"That's the gist of it, yes. From what the healers have said before, I would not try and rush them back, for your own sake," he cautioned. "Did you need to help finding a place though? I imagine the layout must be a bit confusing."

"No, by all means. You might not remember, but I remember you helping me when a mischievous child decided to pain my peacock feathers. I figure answering a few questions here and there is fair enough recompense." He grinned at him - well, not grin, Vanyel did not grin, but he smiled.

"Ah, yes, well, remember how I said we had met before but I was a peacock? For a week, the castle turned me into a peacock," he informed him. "I got paint on my tail feathers, and you helped bathe them to get it off."

"Apparently, more than anyone is really comfortable with, but yes, it does," he nodded. "It was not... terrible, but I felt myself become disturbingly comfortable with being a bird the longer I remained one."

"More or less, so far as I am aware. There is a permanent one, but the ones that turn us into animals and other such things are temporary, usually lasting a week," he shrugged, not having to much information to give beyond that.

"Yes. Mine is my Bardic talent - I cannot sing, compose, or play any music." He shrugged, even though it pained him to admit that. "For some people it is memories or another skill or an item. It varies person to person."

"Uh, I believe you called yourself Clint, last we met," Vanyel supplied.
