Today is Molotov's birthday and she's turning 40 (but don't tell anybody).

Brock had left the cabin doors unlocked so the party guests could filter in and hide before he arrived with Molotov. Or they could just stand around and not hide; Brock didn't really care. As long as people actually showed up, he was cool with whatever.

His cabin was decorated in pretty standard birthday party fare, with streamers hanging from the ceiling and balloons scattered throughout. There was also a table with snacks and a bunch of dumb party hats on it. And there was a lot of alcohol.

Like, a lot of it.

Because what kind of birthday doesn't have an irresponsible amount of booze?

[ She raises one eyebrow at her. ]

I only have one terrible husband.

[ You two are the weirdest couple ever. She tries a hesitant laugh. ]

Will you make sure not to actually hurt him?

Not unless he asks, Lusha.

[ Well he seems strong enough to defend against her... !]

Do you suppose he wants you to use it on him?

[molotov]

He might.

[heloise]

Then perhaps this gift will make him half as happy as it has, presumably, made you?

I believe so, Lusha.

[heloise]

Well then. All is well.

[ She makes a note to check up on Samson tomorrow... ]

I was told there will be cake.

[molotov]

Did Brock not make one?

[ She throws a glance around. ]

We weren't to touch anything until you arrived.

[molotov]

Well, I am certainly here now. Search out the cake and enjoy it until you cannot anymore.

[ Looking at her somewhat warily. ]

Will you make me run around the castle after I eat it?

[molotov]

Maybe tomorrow. [But she's teasing.] Go, go eat cake, it is fine.

[heloise]

[ She giggles. ]

Twice around, only for you.

[molotov]

Do it for yourself, too. You do not want to be fat.

[heloise]

[ She smirks before stepping back to find that cake. ]
