Who: Martel Yggdrasill and Zelos Wilder
What: A ~~family~~ adventure to Wanderer's Yard.

[Martel actually started holding onto Zelos loosely around the waist an hour or so ago, after they went over a hilly patch of ground. They'd been riding for a few hours, she thinks, from the way the sun has been moving. She can't tell, of course. And she can't tell where they are, either. She's never been out this far from the Castle, really. That doesn't mean she's not enjoying, it, though.]

So, have you been to this place before? Wanderer's Yard.

[he gets steadied. And grins in a cocky manner]

Well you know, I am pretty awesome! I pick things up quick!

Of course you do. Ready to go down? [It is 8 feet to the ground.]

I guessss so, the view's not that hot.

[Though he's putting away his wings and leaping down. What is using extra caution? :D ]

[She sighs at that and jumps down, drifting down and landing lightly on her feet.] So, we're in.

[he lands gracefully and looks around. There are dozens of tablets around. Each what seem to have a plaque at the top and lists underneath it, some extensive enough to reach both sides. But...all of them seem to be striked out so badly that you can't read the lists, and the plaques are broken and unreadable as well]

[All except for the last plaque: Paradisa]

...[Martel's eyes widen as she takes a few steps forward and looks at a plaque closest.] No wonder people call this a graveyard.

No kidding - you think all these were castles?

Probably. Maybe one was even the first generation at Paradisa. Unless they're on that plaque right there. [She gestures at the the aqual plaque.]

[he shrugs]

Only one way to see!

[heading over there, at least he could see if Lente's name is on there right?]

[She weaves through the rest of them, looking for something that would even be a clue. But all the names are too heavily scratched out and plaques destroyed.]

[It's a few minutes before he finally calls back]

I think the first gens are on here!

[She heads over to him, looking at the plaque.] interesting. Are they crossed out or not?

Their names are on here...just not filled in by...paint?

...Maybe the Castle still recognizes them as residents.

I'm thinking that....[a pause] Katara's still on here too.

But is her name special? As in, is it done in red, or does it look like all the other names?

She looks like the other names. Our names are in red though.

So the people who are here right now are in red, but the red fades when you get sent home. Why does it record it, though? [She pauses, thinking.] So it knows who to draw back if it needs more energy?

[he shrugs] It'd explain people coming and going. Why find new people when you got a list of candidates all written up?
