Although it was something of a last minute production, South was eager for the chance to rub in York's age a little. She'd felt at such a disadvantage being the baby of her little group, and once the opportunity presented itself for a little mischief she couldn't ignore it.

It had taken some organization and a call out to York's friends, but people who knew him (and even some who didn't) were willing to pitch in and help out.

Thus, South had put up a bunch of decorations, in addition to whatever some of the others brought in. She even had a special hat for the party Boy. Five had someone making a cake, Aradia was helping put up decorations, Reno was in charge of alcohol ... South was quite pleased with herself.

[South looks at him in mild confusion for a moment before the possibility dawns on her, and she makes a face at him.] You'renot another old-as-balls immortal type, are you?

[Yes, this was definitely not something South was expecting, and so she reacts like any trained elite soldier might; instinctual and with force. She snaps her elbow back and pivots to throw a kick behind her before she's really registering his words.]

[Luckily for Cole, he's been hunting humans for over a century, elite soldiers included, and he's pretty good at reading movements and taking hits.

He takes the elbow to the gut, grunting slightly, stepping back to catch the kick... And he seems stronger than he looks.]

[And taking a few steps back, raising his hands, his expression carefully neutral.]

[Crossing her arms and popping her hip up. Yeah she's irritated.]
