While hanging out on the beach is all good fun, it does get incredibly dull rather quickly. Especially when she can't properly strip (sans leather panties of course, damn loss!) for lounging in public due to Alleyne's sharp eye and even sharper swings. Somewhere along the way, the older elf had decided to shorten the length of her leash, or at the very least make an attempt.

Battle and banter are both things Echidna delights in, but they aren't the only activities she pursues. And when Alleyne is the one to always cut in and have her misdirect, it can get redundant. Irritating. Few can get Echidna going like Alleyne can, both in excitement and frustration; But she needs a break, so she takes an opening when she sees it and disappears into the green of the jungle, quickly blending in like she could have lived there her entire life. Finding her when she doesn't want to be found is not a light skill.

So while she is eager to explore this area and see who or what could lurk around any tree, Echidna remains high up in the branches, bounding between them when she isn't taking a leisurely nap or dropping down to explore the thick jungle floor. If nothing else, it couldn't hurt to find something to hunt and eat.
